Artist Of The Week: Kali Uchis

This week I wanted to dedicate a post to one of the most talented female artists, Kali Uchis. Kali Uchis is a Colombian-American singer and songwriter. I wanted to give her recognition because she just finished the last leg of her The Kali and Jorja Tour, which I hope means that she will start working on new music soon. When I first found out about Uchis she was plying the smallest venues and even indoor skate parks. This last tour she went on she sold out some of the biggest venues in America. Let me just start off by saying she deserves every bit of fame she is getting, and I am so proud! If you are into R&B and pop music and would like to check out some of her music she has her mixtape that she came out with in 2012 Drunken Babble, an EP she dropped in 2015 Por Vida, and her debut studio album that came out in 2018 Isolation. On Isolation she actaully features some amazing acts like Steve Lacy, Gorillaz, Vince Staples, Jorja Smith, and Tyler The Creator. All those pieces of work that she has made I treasure so much because they all bring back some form of nostalgia and in a good way.
